My love for black and white compositions in art stems back to my early days in fashion design and the Japanese couturiers who only created in black. I love the simplicity of black and white paintings as it relies so much on composition. My small series was created using hand printed images on tissue, collage and mark-making in white acrylic paint in a transfer method. Beautiful on their own, fabulous together.
